The Free Expression Foundation is grateful to its supporters and donors for your loyalty and generosity. Thanks to you the last two years have brought significant progress, as FEF has expanded its outreach, taken on many important cases, built up its network of sympathetic attorneys, mentored talented young attorneys and interns, and improved its fundraising abilities.  All these factors portend further progress in the future.

That future, however, could be even more dynamic and impactful if FEF’s supporters and donors will include FEF in their estate plans. FEF’s supporters and donors are idealists who care not merely about their own immediate individual interests but about preserving freedom of expression and association for future generations. Including FEF in your estate plans is a safe and powerful means to achieve these idealistic aims, for FEF is being built to endure. It is a safe prediction that future generations will need its advocacy as must as, perhaps even more, than does the present generation.

Please contact us if you are well disposed to help FEF in this regard.  There are many different ways that end-of-life generosity can be effected – through wills, trusts, gifts that pass outside probate, donor advised funds, and other means.  We will gladly work with your estate planning professionals or help you find such professionals if you do not yet have them.

And please know that FEF’s President Glen Allen and many of FEF’s other directors and officers, practicing what they preach, have made or will make provisions in their estate plans for FEF.
